Tender Years of Deale is a Christian daycare center that seeking applicants to join our team.We seek to lay the foundation of children's experiences that promote growth in their faith as well as their physical, social, and cognitive development.
 

TYD seeks to hire educators of Christian character who are creative, energetic, and responsive as leading and assisting in infant/toddler and preschool classrooms.
We seek caring professionals who have experience and/or training working with the desired age group and a commitment to the following:
 

  Professional

• Work cooperatively with & communicate positively with other educators

• Follow operational procedures

• Be on time and maintain a good attendance record (paid leave provided)

• Demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning; attend all required meetings, trainings, & events

Classroom

• Maintain a positive, supportive, inviting, clean, & safe learning environment

• Develop engaging curriculum that emphasizes an exploratory learning process through a play-based approach

• Value educating the whole child – social emotional, intellectual, physical development

• Engage positively & constructively with children & their families; redirect children as needed to meet behavioral & learning expectations

• Communicate effectively, both verbally & electronically, with families

Available Positions/Salaries

• Lead or Assistant Infant/Toddler (6 weeks-24 months): 8-hour shifts between 7:30-5:30 PM

• Lead or Assistant Preschool (2’s, 3’s, or 4’s year olds): 8-hour shifts between 7:30-5:30 PM

• Salary range: $15-22 per hour

Requirements

 

Lead teachers Bachelor’s degree, Associate’s degree, or 90+ hour certification in early childhood

Training or experience with children.
